Flying to Hillsboro Oregon:

Back To The Home Page

The following photos are of our trip home from Hillsboro, Oregon, which is about 180 miles

from our home field of Paine Field.  We have been flying down there at least once a

year for several years and generally stay for an overnighter at the Red Lion hotel just

across the street from the Hillsboro airport.  This time, we got into 101 degree heat and

decided to stay an extra day in order to depart in the early AM.  We rented a car with a

good air conditioner and did some sight seeing.  This airport is only 10 flying minutes

from Van’s home airport of Aurora Oregon.
